Margarita Mermaids is more than just a restaurant and bar—it’s a testament to the power of faith and the strength of community. Born from the ending of our original venture at this location The Satisfied Frog Resturant, our journey began with dreams shattered by the COVID-19 pandemic, birth of Margarita Mermaids and an unexpected fire. Yet, with the unwavering support of our incredible Puerto Penasco family, we rose again. From the ruins of our beloved business, we found hope through friends, neighbors, and even competitors who came together to help us rebuild. Their generosity and love breathed life back into our vision, and on July 4th, 2020, Margarita Mermaids opened its doors. Despite the devastating fire that followed just weeks later, the spirit of Rocky Point’s community came through once more. People from all over our communities on both sides of the border extended their kindness, allowing us to rise from the ashes once again. Margarita Mermaids stands as a symbol of resilience, unity, and faith—a place where the love and support of the Puerto Penasco community shines as brightly as the ocean waves we call home.
